Roblox's 2026 gamepass change, explained
Since May 29, 2026 games can't sell other games' passes, and donations moved to the Transfers API. Here's what that means for getting Robux.
What changed
On May 4, 2026 Roblox announced that it would switch off cross-game sales of passes and developer products. Until then, a game could put up a gamepass from any other game for sale. Donation games used this so players could list their own passes and get Robux from strangers. On May 29, 2026 that stopped.
No longer possible
- A game can no longer sell a gamepass or developer product that belongs to another game.
- Donation games that sold players’ own passes (like Pls Donate) had to stop doing that on May 29, 2026.
- Tips and donations now go through Roblox’s Transfers API instead.

- Selling gamepasses and developer products in your own game.
- Buying a gamepass on its own Roblox page.
- Private servers.
- Selling avatar items such as clothing.
The Transfers API in short
Roblox's replacement for donations sends Robux straight from one player to another inside a game. The person who receives it gets 90%, the game's creator gets 10% and Roblox takes no fee. It comes with rules: senders need Roblox Plus and an age check, anyone under 18 needs parental approval, transfers are capped at 500 Robux a day and 1,000 a month, and a transfer cannot be undone.
Do FarmRBX withdrawals still work?
Yes. When you withdraw, FarmRBX buys the gamepass or private server you created, directly. Nothing is sold through another game, so the May 2026 change doesn't touch it. The steps, the 7 R$ minimum and the fee we cover are the same as before.

Does this mean Pls Donate no longer works?
Donation games had to switch to the Transfers API, which has age checks and limits. Donations still exist, but they work differently than before.
Do I need to change my gamepass for FarmRBX?
No. Create a gamepass in one of your own public games (or turn on private servers), set the price the Withdraw page shows, and FarmRBX buys it.
