Microsoft Rewards Robux: what changed and what still works
Robux gift cards are no longer in the Microsoft Rewards catalog. Here's what that means for your points, and where you can still earn Robux.
What happened to Robux on Microsoft Rewards?
For years, Microsoft Rewards let you swap the points you earned from Bing searches, quizzes and Xbox activity for Roblox gift cards. In early April 2026 (players first noticed on April 8) those cards disappeared from the redeem catalog.
Microsoft has not announced a return date. Your points are not affected: they stay in your account and still work for everything else in the catalog.
Your options now
- Robux gift card in Microsoft RewardsGone since April 2026
- The Roblox cards are no longer in the redeem catalog. Microsoft has not said if or when they come back.
- Xbox or Microsoft gift card, then buy RobuxWorks, with a detour
- Redeem points for an Xbox or Microsoft gift card, add it to your Microsoft account, and buy Robux in Roblox on Xbox or in the Microsoft Store app on Windows.
- A rewards site that pays RobuxWorks
- Sites like FarmRBX pay Robux for games, surveys and app offers. FarmRBX sends them to your own Roblox account from 7 R$.
Using your points for Robux through an Xbox gift card
Redeem an Xbox or Microsoft gift card
Pick one in the Microsoft Rewards catalog with the points you saved.
Add it to your Microsoft account
Redeem the code on your Microsoft account so it becomes account balance.
Open Roblox on Xbox or Windows
Use the Xbox app or the Roblox app from the Microsoft Store, where purchases use your Microsoft balance.
Buy Robux
Buy a Robux package with that balance. Check the price in your region first, since cards and packages come in fixed amounts.
Earning Robux on FarmRBX instead
FarmRBX works much like Microsoft Rewards did, but pays Robux directly. You play games, answer surveys and try apps from our offerwall partners. The advertiser pays us, and we pay you in Robux.
Once your balance reaches 7 R$, you withdraw to your own Roblox account through a gamepass or private server you create. You never share your password, and we cover Roblox's fee. See how payouts work.
Before you try any Robux site, ours included, run it through our 7-point safety checklist.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still get Robux from Microsoft Rewards?
Not directly. Roblox gift cards were removed from the Microsoft Rewards catalog in April 2026. You can still redeem points for an Xbox or Microsoft gift card and use that balance to buy Robux in Roblox on Xbox or in the Microsoft Store app.
When will Robux come back to Microsoft Rewards?
Microsoft has not given a date, and its support answers say it does not share restock timelines. Keep an eye on the Redeem page if you want to wait for it.
What happens to the points I saved for Robux?
Nothing. Your Microsoft Rewards points stay in your account and you can use them for anything else in the catalog, including Xbox and Microsoft gift cards.
Is there another free way to get Robux?
Rewards sites are the main one: advertisers pay the site when you try a game, answer a survey or install an app, and the site pays you in Robux. FarmRBX pays from 7 R$ and never asks for your Roblox password.
Do I need a Microsoft account for FarmRBX?
No. You only need your Roblox username. Withdrawals go through a gamepass or private server you create in Roblox.
