Pending Robux: how long it takes
Robux from a gamepass sale don’t land in your balance straight away. Here’s why, how long it takes and where to check.
What “Pending” means
When someone buys your gamepass, Roblox doesn’t hand you the Robux straight away. It holds them first. Roblox’s own help page calls this holding period escrow: the Robux show as Pending, and when the holding period is over they appear in your Robux total.
That goes for every pass sale on Roblox, and so for FarmRBX withdrawals too: we pay you by buying your gamepass. Roblox also keeps its 30% fee from the sale. FarmRBX already covers that fee in the price, so the amount you see pending is the amount you withdrew.
How long Roblox holds your Robux
Roblox doesn’t publish a fixed time for passes. In practice gamepass Robux usually leave Pending within a few days. Other kinds of sales are held longer, as Roblox staff have explained on the Developer Forum:
| Sale | Usually pending for | Where that comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Gamepass (and FarmRBX withdrawals) | A few days | No official number from Roblox |
| Clothing | Less than a week | Roblox staff on the Developer Forum |
| UGC items (accessories) | Up to 30 days | Roblox staff on the Developer Forum |
Nothing makes it go faster. Roblox has no claim button for pending Robux, so a site, script or person offering to release them early is a scam. See how Robux scams work.
How to check your Pending Robux
Open your Robux
On roblox.com, click the Robux icon at the top right, then click your Robux amount.
Look at the Summary
My Transactions opens on the Summary. Pending Robux shows what is on its way to you.
Find the sale
Switch the filter to Sales of Goods. Every pass sale is listed with the buyer, the pass and the Robux you get.
Wait it out
When the hold ends, Roblox moves the Robux into your balance by itself. There is nothing to claim.
Roblox’s help page describes My Transactions in a web browser. On a phone, open roblox.com in your browser, sign in and follow the same steps.
Pending Robux from a FarmRBX withdrawal
Withdrawing from FarmRBX works from 7 R$: you make a gamepass, set the price the Withdraw page shows and FarmRBX buys it. The sale then appears under Sales of Goods, and the Robux under Pending.
If a withdrawal fails instead, the Robux go back to your FarmRBX balance and you get a notification. A common reason is a pass with Managed pricing on: here’s how to turn it off.
